Principal’s Message |
Dear Lion Family, Happy Friday to you and yours! The weather is turning cold this week. We have had a number of teachers and students who have been out sick. Please be sure to eat healthy, stay physically fit by exercising, take Vitamin C to boost your immunity system, and rest well so you can be in school. Being in school and in the classroom is where we are learning and most engaging with our community. Stay healthy, Lions! On Wednesday, the Outreach Team and LVLA staff partnered to host approximately 100 students from Voices Academy. The middle school students were introduced to the LVLA campus, spoke to staff and student leaders from ASB, played games, visited classrooms, and had the opportunity to engage in conversations with our students at LVLA. Homework Center - This will be open to all students who need extra support to complete work after school for approximately an hour after school housed in the Student Success Center Room 102. Work Permit Form - Complete and turn it into the office TO MS. TORRES. PowerSchool. Parents and Students, please download the PowerSchool App to be informed of your grades. Here’s the direction. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zqFzSbB2QdoLmHIXS3cOsTQflTK716Ew/view?usp=sharing 10/10 Rule - Students must be in class during the 1st 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of class (Restrooms and Offices will not be available). Hall Passes - Students out of class must possess a Hall Pass from teachers or office staff. Bathroom Ramp - Due to students’ sensitivity and to provide safety and comfort for all students using the bathroom, we will clear out students hanging out on the bathroom ramp during brunch and lunch. Please have no more than 5 students in the bathroom at one time. No RED No Blue - For Safety Reasons, students are not allowed to wear red or blue attire on campus. |
